Abstract The intelligent delivery robot for substation maintenance is a kind of equipment power system, which can assist or even replace the artificial to carry in substation. It has important theoretical significance and practical application value automation operation management Substation autonomous navigation motion control key promote its application, based on this, this paper proposes vehicle method, ground mobile model was established, decomposition movement space, deduced along X, Y, Z direction error expressions, controller designed selected suitable Lyapunov function proved that stability system motion, finally, integration design, inspection physical prototype developed substations verified by field method feasible effective.
